OUR STORY
Rochdale Spears Company was founded in 2003 by CEO and Chairman Geoff Hawkes, as a modest manufacturing base. Today, more than a decade on, with over 3000 local employees and an international team of dedicated furniture specialists, the Company supplies major retailers globally, and is widely regarded as a preeminent player in the high-end manufacturing industry.
With a reputation for exceptional quality and exquisite craftsmanship, Rochdale Spears Company has become a proud leader in exceptional design, innovative product development and world-class manufacturing in the luxury furniture market.

OUR FACILITIES
From our base in Thanh Phuoc, Vietnam, the Rochdale Spears Company operates several state-of-the-art proprietary manufacturing facilities. The newest structure, completed in 2016, covers over 800,000 square-feet, and is one of the largest purpose-built furniture manufacturing facilities of its kind in Vietnam.
Our facilities are equipped with cutting-edge machinery such Point-to-Point and Computer Numeric Controlled equipment, humidity control divisions and advanced spray instruments, ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained.

OUR CRAFT
Bringing together innovative technology, pioneering tools and the finest talent, the Rochdale Spears Company has developed a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship.
We are proud to collaborate with our partners on each step of the design process; from visual research, experimentation with materials, design and sustainability, to operational support, quality assurance and product development expertise.
Our team of experienced artisans employs methods such hand-carving, eglomise, leafing and welding; applying their methods to working with reclaimed and plantation-grown woods, veneer, faux-shagreen, metal and concrete.
Our upholstery program is world class, and the team employs new and old techniques to bring these pieces to life; from engineered, plywood frames and hardwood corner blocks, to ergonomic support and 8-way hand tied springs, long considered the gold standard in upholstery construction.
The result is furniture that celebrates natural and honest materials; timeless and beautifully designed.
