Job Description
1. Network and Connectivity
- Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Internet, Wi-Fi, VPN and inter-site connections for the Head Office, factories, warehouses and other company locations.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, wireless devices, VLANs, routing, network ports and related network services.
- Monitor bandwidth utilization, latency, packet loss and network availability; proactively resolve performance and connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with Internet and telecom service providers for incidents, upgrades and new connection requirements.
2. Server, Virtualization and Cloud Infrastructure
- Install, configure and maintain physical servers, Windows Servers, storage, Hyper-V clusters, HCI platforms, virtual machines and cloud infrastructure.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services, Microsoft 365 and other infrastructure services.
- Monitor server performance, hardware health, storage capacity and cluster availability; resolve system and service failures.
- Support the infrastructure hosting key business applications, including ERP, accounting, database, email and development environments.
3. Backup, Patching and Infrastructure Security
- Monitor daily backup jobs, investigate failures, manage backup capacity and perform periodic restoration tests.
- Maintain backup and recovery readiness for critical systems and support disaster recovery testing when required.
- Plan and perform operating system, firmware and infrastructure software patching within approved maintenance windows.
- Monitor firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection, authentication activities and security alerts; support vulnerability remediation and incident investigation.
4. Identity, Access and Microsoft 365 Administration
- Administer user accounts, computer accounts, security groups, Group Policy and access permissions in Windows Active Directory.
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID users, groups, administrative roles, enterprise applications, identity synchronization and authentication configurations.
- Configure, review and maintain Microsoft Entra ID policies, including Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication, authentication methods, password protection, session controls and Identity Protection policies.
- Administer Exchange Online, including user and shared mailboxes, distribution groups, mailbox permissions, mail flow rules, email forwarding, message tracing, spam protection and email access policies.
5. Monitoring, Incident and User Support
- Monitor network devices, servers, storage, clusters, UPS, backup systems and critical infrastructure services.
- Create and update incident tickets when failures, security alerts or deviations from defined thresholds are detected.
- Investigate infrastructure incidents, perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
- Provide second-level support for network connectivity, VPN, authentication, Microsoft 365, shared services and other infrastructure-related issues.
Job Requirement
- At least 03 years of experience in the same/similar position.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies, including LAN/WAN, Internet, VPN, routers, switches, firewalls, servers, storage, virtualization, Hyper-V, HCI, backup systems, and cloud services.
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring, system administration, patch management, backup and recovery, capacity management, and security operations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve infrastructure incidents within agreed service levels.
- Good documentation and communication skills, including the ability to maintain technical procedures, configuration records, incident reports, and system diagrams.
